This explains what Oathl collects, why, and what stays visible to other athletes on the leaderboard.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

When you create an Oathl account, we collect your phone number to verify your identity via OTP. We don’t use passwords or third-party logins — your phone number is your account.

During onboarding, you provide your name, age, gender, height, weight, and location. This seeds your starting Sport Ratings and places you correctly on the Delhi-NCR leaderboard.

As you use the app, we collect the activity data you log — gym sessions, exercises, sets and reps, running routes and pace, and (soon) calisthenics sessions. Running routes are captured via GPS through Mapbox to calculate distance and pace.
